In 2025, Quique completely blew us away at the Curacao North Sea Jazz Festival; since then, he has only grown! On his acclaimed album ‘El Colombolandés,’ he embraced his Colombian roots more than ever, and in 2026, he’s taking it to the next level with the successor ‘El Colombolandés 2.0.’ Expect a mix of Latin pop, merengue, and salsa, tightly blended with urban sounds, cumbia, and reggaeton.
He’s dropping a new track every month in 2026, have you heard his latest feat ‘Soy yo’ yet? If not: time to do your homework! Quique is bringing the sun of Medellín to our stage. Sitting still is not an option; dancing is mandatory. ¿Tú sabes?

What happens?
In January 2023, Aurora Marchese and Mikael Máni Ásmundsson met in Amsterdam, brought together by a shared love of lyrics, jazz ballads and, unexpectedly, chocolate. This mutual sensitivity laid the foundation for their undeniable chemistry.
Their artistic synergy grew within the vibrant and multicultural music scene of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, an environment that became a natural meeting point for their contrasting yet harmonious personalities.
Yoran Vroom
Yoràn Vroom is one of the greatest drumming talents in the Netherlands. He attributes an important part of his development to his studies with drummer Eddy Veldman and percussionist Ponda O’Bryan. Vroom is active as a percussion teacher at the jazz department of the Conservatory of Amsterdam. He worked with internationally renowned musicians such as Frank McComb, Ed Motta, Cory Henry and Kinga Głyk.

Knack Music
Javanese roots. Indonesian rhythms. A modern sound.
Knack Music is a Surinamese music collective blending Javanese musical traditions with contemporary sounds, including the vibrant rhythms of dangdut.
Led by musician and arranger Nanco Ronokarijo, the collective brings culture to a new generation through modern arrangements, energetic performances and professional production.
More than a band, Knack Music connects tradition, culture and modern music — in Suriname and beyond.
LUGUBER
Luguber emerged from Suriname’s underground scene in 2015, blending hardcore punk, grunge, sludge, alternative rock and raw melodic songwriting.
With releases including Het Pad (2018), Tabula Rasa (2022) and the Caribbean split Green with Trinidadian band Anti-Everything, Luguber has built a strong presence in Suriname’s alternative scene and beyond.
For Jazz Festival, the band presents a stripped-down set, giving their songs more room for melody, atmosphere and vulnerability, alongside a few heavier moments that showcase their roots.

Urvin Robinson
Urvin Robinson founded the collective A Kari to showcase the energy and diversity of Caribbean, jazz and West African music. His goal is to bring talented musicians together and create a sound that reflects the region’s rich musical heritage.
A Kari’s music draws inspiration from the Afro-roots of West Africa, Haiti, Jamaica, Martinique and other Caribbean islands. Jazz forms the foundation, flowing seamlessly together with the polyrhythms of Suriname. The result is a unique blend of Afro-Caribbean rhythms and jazz that makes their performances distinctive and captivating, which they are eager to share with audiences around the world.
Naks Kaseko Loco
NAKS Kaseko Loco (NKL), founded in 1995, is one of Suriname’s most renowned kaseko ensembles. Rooted in traditional kaseko, kawina and winti music, NKL blends these Afro-Surinamese sounds with Caribbean, Latin American and American soul influences.
Known for their energetic performances and creative arrangements, NKL has released numerous CDs and DVDs and performed extensively in Suriname, the Netherlands and Belgium, including major festivals such as Kwakoe and the Antilliaanse Feesten.

Rachidi Sanches
Rachidi Sanches is a Surinamese vocalist and vocal coach known for her powerful voice and versatility across classical and contemporary music. She began singing at a young age and gained wider recognition at 19 after winning the national school competition Got Talent with Lyceum II.
Since then, Rachidi has become a sought-after vocalist, performing in productions including Suripop and Suritoppers. She has also further developed her musical craft through formal training and has graduated from the Suriname Conservatory.
With a strong foundation in classical vocal technique and a passion for diverse musical styles, Rachidi continues to build her career as one of Suriname’s distinctive vocal talents.

Delceggio Scheineman, better known as DelInModel, is a Surinamese artist and musician driven by creativity, innovation, and emotional connection.
Music is what he does every day and what he does best. As a forward-thinking creative, DelInModel is constantly exploring new and unconventional ways to create music and connect with his audience on an emotional level. Every song and visual is an opportunity to experiment, evolve, and tell a story in his own way.
With a focus on originality and pushing creative boundaries, DelInModel continues to develop his sound and identity while creating music that resonates with the people who listen.

Ronald Snijders & Elizabeth Fadel bring together a vibrant blend of jazz, Brazilian music and improvisation. Ronald Snijders, renowned Dutch flutist and winner of the prestigious Boy Edgar Prize, joins Brazilian pianist Elizabeth Fadel in a dynamic musical dialogue driven by curiosity, freedom and virtuosity.
Their performances move effortlessly between melody and experimentation, drawing inspiration from Brazil, Africa and beyond. With heart, energy and a playful spirit, the duo creates an engaging experience that invites audiences to listen, feel and, sometimes, even dance.
