What happens?

In January 2023, Aurora Marchese and Mikael Máni Ásmundsson met in Amsterdam, brought together by a shared love of lyrics, jazz ballads and, unexpectedly, chocolate. This mutual sensitivity laid the foundation for their undeniable chemistry.
Their artistic synergy grew within the vibrant and multicultural music scene of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, an environment that became a natural meeting point for their contrasting yet harmonious personalities.

Yoràn Vroom is one of the greatest drumming talents in the Netherlands. He attributes an important part of his development to his studies with drummer Eddy Veldman and percussionist Ponda O’Bryan. Vroom is active as a percussion teacher at the jazz department of the Conservatory of Amsterdam. He worked with internationally renowned musicians such as Frank McComb, Ed Motta, Cory Henry and Kinga Głyk.

In 2025, Quique completely blew us away at the Curacao North Sea Jazz Festival; since then, he has only grown! On his acclaimed album ‘El Colombolandés,’ he embraced his Colombian roots more than ever, and in 2026, he’s taking it to the next level with the successor ‘El Colombolandés 2.0.’ Expect a mix of Latin pop, merengue, and salsa, tightly blended with urban sounds, cumbia, and reggaeton.
